CHAPTER 6. Connecting the Stations

and Additional Equipment

This chapter describes how to connect various stations and additional equipment

(analog/digital phones, door phones, door locks etc.) to the OfficeServ 7030 system.

6.1 Connecting the Stations

6.1.1 Cautions when Connecting the Stations

When connecting the stations, pay attention to the following criteria:

y Do not connect the stations in extreme weather conditions such as storm and lightning.

y Do not connect the stations in humid areas.

y Comply with the manual of the station as well as with this document when

reconnecting the stations or changing the connections.

y Connect the stations with a pair of #24 AWG or #26 AWG cables.

The distances between the stations and the OfficeServ 7030 system are as follows:
