Alignment and Adjustment
2-12. BAND Pass Filter
: This adjustment is performed to set the band-
width of the 1.5MHz BPF.
By this adjustment, we can playback the audio
without distortion.
In case of normal models especially, you must
set the 1Vp-p level also.
In case of HI8 models, the 1Vp-p level is set in
the step 2-13.
a. Preparations
b. Connect a power source.
c. Get into the VCR adjustment mode.
d. Press the ÒTITLE (MODE UP)/DATE/TIME
(MODE DOWN)Ó button of CAMCORDER so as
to select the address 07.
e. Insert the Standard Color Bar Tape(monaural)
and press the PLAY button.
f. Connect the oscilloscope to the addressed Test
Point.
g. Press the ÒTITLE (MODE UP)/DATE/TIME
(MODE DOWN)Ó button so as to set the wave-
form to be as below.
h. Be sure to press the ÒMENU/ENTER(CON-
FIRM)Ó button of CAMCORDER to memorize
setting.
i. Reset the power source so as to fix the new data
to the EEPROM.
MINIMIZE THE DISTORTION.
THE BEST IS SINE WAVE.
