Activate and connect to a wireless

LAN (WLAN)

Activate Wi-Fi

To activate Wi-Fi on your phone

1. In Menu mode, select Wi-Fi.

2. Select the Wi-Fi icon in the centre of the screen.

The icon turns blue when Wi-Fi is activated.

Search for a WLAN and create a

connection profile

1. In Menu mode, select Wi-Fi  Search.

2. Select a network icon  Add and complete the

connection profile.

3. Select Save.

Now when you activate Wi-Fi, your phone is

automatically connected to the profiled network.

Connect to the Internet using WLAN

1. Activate Wi-Fi and create one or more

connection profiles (see above).

2. In Menu mode, select Internet or Communities,

or in Idle mode, select a web-based widget.

3. Select and drag a network icon into the centre (if

necessary).

Your phone connects to the network using the

connected WLAN profile.

To conserve battery power, activate the WLAN

only when needed.
