Mobile Device Screen on TV (Screen Mirroring)

Wirelessly connect a mirroring function-enabled mobile device to the TV and play the video and audio

stored on the device on the TV. Mirroring refers to the function that simultaneously plays the video

and audio of a mobile device on a TV and on the mobile device.

To use the Screen Mirroring function, the mobile device must support a mirroring function such as AllShare

Cast, WiDi (above version 3.5) and Miracast. To check whether your mobile device supports the mirroring

function, please visit the mobile device manufacturer's website.

The video or audio may intermittently stop depending on network conditions.

Connecting a Mobile Device...

On the mobile device, turn on the Mirroring function. The mobile device searches for available

devices to connect to.

From the search result list, select TV. The TV displays a pop-up window.

In the pop-up window, select Allow to connect the mobile device.

All previously allowed mobile devices will automatically connect without needing approval.

If you select Deny, the device won't appear and can't be activated in this way. Navigate to Network >

Screen Mirroring > Device Manager to allow the previously denied mobile device.

Some mobile devices may not support the TV. In this case, refer to "When the Mobile Device Does Not

Find the TV..." below.

When the Mobile Device Does Not Find the TV...

From the Network > Screen Mirroring menu, run Screen Mirroring. Alternatively, press the

외부입력 button, and then select Screen Mirroring from the list.

Turn on the mirroring function on the mobile device. The mobile device automatically scans for

the TV, and then displays it on a list.

Select the TV. Then, the TV and the mobile device are connected.

If the connection fails, turn the TV and mobile device off and on, and then try again.

Allowing/Denying Connection with a Mobile Device

This is only available for watching when mobile devices allow the connection.

Navigate to Network > Screen Mirroring, and select Device Manager. All devices that request for

connection to the TV are listed.

Allow or deny access from each device in the list to your needs. You can only view a screen of

the mobile device that have been allowed to connect to the TV.

If a mobile device requests the connection, the connection allowance confirmation window appears on

the TV so that you can easily connect the mobile device.
