Chapter 4 Diagnosis Modes
Q Scan
NOTE: The Quick Scan function is only available with specific probes and applications.
Use the Q Scan button on the touch panel. The Q Scan button on the touch panel will be
illuminated in blue. In 2D Mode, this button is used to optimize the contrast and brightness of
an image by automatically adjusting Gain and TGC. In PW Spectral Doppler Mode, it is used to
optimize the spectrum by automatically adjusting Scale and Baseline. However, if you adjust the
Scale or Baseline manually in this screen, the Q Scan button will automatically be turned o. To
exit QuickScan mode, tap the Q Scan O button on the touch screen. The color of the Q Scan
button on the touch panel will change from blue to white.
