12. Pump-Out Procedure

1) General Instructions

(1) Pump-out is the name of operation which pumps out the refrigerant from outdoor unit.

(2) Pump out operation can be put into operation with more than 2 outdoor units installed.

(3) If system is under extremely low pressure, compressor will be damaged. When low pressure go

down 2kgf/㎠ or below, close the service valve quickly.

2) Procedure of Pump down operation

Close Liquid SVC Valve of

outdoor unit to carry out pump

out operation

Group Installation

Press “K1” button for assigning

the outdoor unit *1)

Push “K4” button 4 times for

checking low pressure

*1) Press 1 time  Main Outdoor unit

2 times  Sub 1 Outdoor unit

3 times  Sub 2 Outdoor unit

4 times  Sub 3 Outdoor unit

If low pressure ≤

2kgf/㎠

Comp. On

Close Gas SVC Valve of

operating outdoor unit

Press “K2” button 2 times

or “K3” button 1 time

for the end of pump out operation
