Tissue
Optimize the image by using the appropriate ultrasound velocity for the characteristics of the
examination target (tissue). Use the dial-button to select Solid, Normal, Adipose or Cystic.
■
Pulse Inversion
Press the dial-button to turn it on or o. If it is turned on, pulses are inverted to sharpen the displayed
image.
NOTE: Pulse Inversion is available for use with specific probes only.
■
Power
Power is the intensity of the acoustic output. Select a value between 10 and 100 with the dial-button.
■
PPI
NOTE: PPI is available for use with specific probes only.
Press the dial-button to turn it on or o. If it is on, power pulses are inverted to sharpen the displayed
image. PPI stands for Power Pulse Inversion.
■
Angle (10 Steps)
NOTE: Angle (10 Steps) is available for use with specific probes only.
Rotate the image with the dial-button. Using this, you can rotate the image in greater steps than
when using the Angle dial-button on the control panel.
