CAUTION: The measurement value from Auto Calc and the measurement value from ‘Auto Trace’ in

Measurement Mode may not be identical. This is because they use diﬀerent operation algorithms.

For more accurate measurement, we recommend using ‘Auto Trace’ in Measurement Mode.

Baseline

Use the dial-button to adjust the baseline for Doppler spectrum.

■

Mean Trace

NOTE: Mean Trace appears on the menu only when Auto Calc is turned on.

Press the dial-button to turn it on or o. When on, the mean value of the item calculated by Auto

Calc is traced in black.

Loop Size

Resize the PW Spectral Doppler image for the 2D image. Select a value between 30 and 70 with the

dial-button.

■

Loop Format

Set the screen layout for PW Spectral Doppler and 2D images by pressing the dial-button. Select

Top/Bottom to display the 2D image at the top or Side By Side to display the 2D image on the right-

hand side.

Dynamic Range

Adjust contrast by changing the ratio of minimum/maximum input signal values. Select a value

between 50 and 170 with the dial-button. Increasing the ratio makes the image softer.

Doppler Average

Press the dial-button to turn it on or o. When on, the expression of the spectral Doppler image is

enhanced.
