Power Supply
Boot the system for use.
CAUTION: Make sure to connect the probe and peripheral devices that will be used before
powering on the system. If you attempt to connect them during system use, it may lead to patient
injury or fatal damage to the console.
NOTE: Samsung Medison recommends that you supply power by using the AC adapter
Connecting the AC Adapter
Connect the AC adapter to the power port found at the back of the console. If power is supplied via the
AC adapter, the battery is automatically re-charged.
NOTE:

You do not need to connect the AC adapter if you intend to operate the system on the battery
only.

For detailed information on replacing and managing the battery pack, please refer to Chapter 8,
“Maintenance.”

(In North America) For 120 Volt applications, use only UL Listed detachable power cord with
NEMA configuration 5-15P type (parallel blades) plug cap. For 240 Volt applications use only UL
Listed Detachable power supply cord with NEMA configuration 6-15P type (tandem blades) plug
cap.
