Auto IMT (Optional)
This function allows you to take IMT measurement easily
NOTE:

Auto IMT is an optional item for MySono U5.
X
Auto IMT is available only under the following conditions:
−
Probe: Linear Probe
−
Application: Vascular
−
Diagnosis Mode: 2D, C or PD Mode
Auto IMT Screen

Risk Color Bar
This shows colors based on the thickness of the IMT. If the thickness is <= 0.5 mm, the entire bar
is shown in green. If the thickness is >= 1.1 mm, the entire bar is shown in red. For any thickness
between these values, it is shown in the corresponding color.
■
Ruler and Range Bar
Use the trackball and the Set button to specify the location and range at which IMT will be measured.
X Ruler: The grid unit is 10 mm. This option is used when a vessel is lying laterally. At the
measurement location, press the Set button to take IMT measurement at 10 mm intervals.
X Range Bar: This option is used when a vessel is not lying laterally, or when measuring the
length of a specic segment. Press and hold the Set button at the start point, and then drag
with the trackball to specify the end point.

Intima and Adventitia Pair
X Between the Near and Far zones, the one with the higher QI is automatically selected as the
measurement value and it is represented by the color of the Risk Color Bar.
X The pair with the lower QI is represented in dark sky blue.
X Press Change to swap Near with Far, which is automatically selected by QI. The measurement
value and color presentation are also changed automatically. Note that changes will not take
place when QI is 0.
