* Tips on Improving 3D Image Quality
1. Consider the direction, size and division of the viewpoint as well as the visibility of an object.
2. Before acquiring 3D images, adjust the contrast in 2D Mode.
3. The bigger the ROI box, the slower the rendering speed. Therefore, set an appropriate ROI box
size.
4. To see the 3D image of a fetus in frontal view, position the fetal head in the direction of the
Direction Mark, putting it in the coronal plane. Then scan the fetus from back to abdomen.
5. A 3D image of the fetal face can be more easily found in the coronal plane than in the sagittal
plane.
6. To determine surface contour, matter such as amniotic fluid that do not generate echoes should
be insulated with hypo-echoic textures.
7. To obtain a high quality 3D surface, adjust the Low Threshold value.
8. The general rule is not to adjust High Threshold; set it to the maximum value of 255.
